Default Guild Wars 2 Concept Art from Kotaku - 10 New Pics!

Article on Guild Wars 2, includes some concept art and screenshots on bottom of the page.

Snipet:
Quote:
You are wandering through the countryside and you see a dragon flying overhead. You and a group try to stave off the dragon. If you are successful the nearby town gives you a treasure.

But if you don't drive off the dragon, the bridge will be destroyed. This will lead to a team of carpenters gathering at the bridge to try to fix it and then you will have to protect them from bandits.

[not sure if these informations are already included on the other thread, there were 88 pages and I couldn't get through all of them, if it is, compile or delete or whatever...]

EDIT: Diablo, I'm going to hi-jack your thread here but I'm guessing these are part of almost "press release" packets going out to various sites since it indicates they had a phone interview with Jeff Strain on that.

Damn... those are fine. The Charr painting is just amazing. Arena.net has some of the best concept art I've seen from the games industry in general.

Well, to swing that giant sword of hers, she'd have to be manly. I always found it was ridiculous that a little stick of a girl could swing those 50 pound weapons...

There's only one thing I have to ask Anet: Are those Tina Turner's nipple rings?

Yeah, I'd love to know The Inquirer's sauce... I honestly thought it was a hoax, but oh well LOL

I really hope they don't change the look of the Charr too much...

Other than that, GW:EN looks like its goona be grand!

For all the FFVII fans:

That "manly girl" is actually Cloud! Remember, he's a cross-dresser! Notice the six-pack and the obvious Buster Sword he's wielding. IT'S CLOUD I TELL YOU!

But more seriously: Those are beautiful, as is all the concept work for Guild Wars. Will Eye of the North follow the tradition and use those as loading screens? If so, that will be amazing.

Am I the only one who finds the Female Norn pic just amazing?

I know it's supposed to be Norse and all, but it has Irish overtones as well (the tatoos especially).

Oh, and the girl is fine. Nothing wrong with a girl who has muscles, especially if she's so... titillating.
